Following the successful family-friendly, tree planting activity for BCHK at Forest for All in Tao Fong Shan last year, join us for a special environmental educational garden planting event at *Earth Garden*—a sustainable cultural design project by Cal alumni Lily Zhang and Wataru Shinji—on April 18 (Sat) at Shenzhen Bay Park.

Lily and Wataru, founders of their architecture and landscape office, Lily Zhang and Wataru Shinji, and faculty at HKU and CUHK, previously led BCHK’s tree-planting event at Forest for All. They will now guide this joint BCHK x Berkeley Club South China planting experience as part of Park Life Vision, curated by Liu Xiaodu, Director of Pingshan Art Museum. Earth Garden is an environmental collaborative program among Greater Bay Area community members, Lily and Wataru, Shenzhen Parks Department, HKU, and CUHK.

🌳 Families and friends of all ages can enjoy an eco-workshop, plant their own greenery, join a guided park tour, and bring home a moss pot—plus snacks and drinks. Each participant receives an Earth Garden Planting Certificate.

💵 Cost: 300 RMB (342.14 HKD) per tree per group
📅 Date: April 18, 2026 (Sat)
⏰ Time: 10am–1pm
📍 Location: Shenzhen Bay Park, near Carpark #2, Exit D2 (10 min from Futian Checkpoint)

Join us for an evening of engaging conversations highlighting Berkeley's excellence. The evening will start with campus updates, followed by a dynamic panel discussion, “Changing View of the Universe,” on research that is expanding our understanding of the Universe and how it was formed.
The panel will be moderated by *Dean of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Steve Kahn*, and will feature *Nobel Laureate and astrophysicist Reinhard Genzel*, along with *renowned physicists and Breakthrough Prize winners Hitoshi Murayama and Kam-Biu Luk.*

This is your chance to network with fellow alumni and hear directly from these leading minds.

Join us on Thursday, August 21, for an evening at Tai Kwun showcasing their exhibition Undercover Underworld, which celebrates 8 classic Hong Kong undercover (臥底）films including Infernal Affairs 無間道 and City on Fire 龍虎風雲.
Experience immersive installations, rare memorabilia, and exclusive insights from filmmakers, actors, and real undercover cops.
