The Information Design Lab at the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University is a research and consultancy unit dedicated to investigating what makes the design of information relevant, usable, understandable and attractive. Adopting a user-oriented approach in its applied research, the primary focus of the lab is on the processes that influence how people recognize, make sense of, p

rocess, remember and learn various types information, so that we can design more effective communication tools for our users.

信息設計研究室隸屬香港理工大學設計學院，乃學術研究及顧問單位。研究室專注探討怎樣設計信息才能達致合適、可用性高、容易明白、具吸引力之效。以用戶為本的方法進行應用性的研究，研究室主要探討影響著人們怎樣識別、明暸、處理、記憶和學習不同種類信息的過程與因素，從而幫助設計出更有效的溝通工具，令用戶能達到所需之目的。
