【畢業後難就業 副學士失業率達5.9% Unemployment plagues the undergraduates - Unemployment rate soars to 5.9%】

根據政府統計處最新公佈的綜合住戶統計調查所得，副學士畢業生失業的情況較學歷更低的嚴重，佔全港整體失業率的5.9%，持文憑或一般證書學歷的人士也佔4.2%；大專講師表示 副學士畢業生普遍求職要求較市場普遍職位水平高，導致失業率持續上升。畢業同學切忌過於苛求高薪厚職，不妨先吸取相關工作經驗及把握機會進修，提升自我競爭力，再向著理想的職位邁進。

According to the latest announcement of a public investigation conducted by Census and Statistics Department of Hong Kong, the unemployment rate of Associate degree graduates are worse than those with lower qualification, they account for 5.9% in total, while diploma holder or equivalent qualification also account for 4.2%. Lecturer of junior college indicates that Associate degree graduates usually demands for compensation package that exceeds their market value when it comes to job hunting, which then causes unemployment rate continue to rise. The best advice to fresh graduates, is not to seek for the best package, but to enhance self-value and gaining competitive edge by gaining relevant experience and taking the opportunities to pursue further knowledge, then promotion and rises will no longer be dreams.

工商管理碩士課程畢業，商業社會一般都認為這是晉身管理階級的一塊踏腳石。根據最近一次的香港科技大學就業報告指出，2014年MBA畢業生受僱就業率達77.8%，他們有約95%主要任職於商業或貿易公司，其次為工程或工業類的公司；而他們的入息中位數為$54167，較上一年提升了3.3%。

In 2014, the employment rate of MBA graduates hits 77.8%, 95% of them works in commercial or trading company, while others work in a construction company. 即使年年加薪，打工仔們的薪金都總是追不上通脹，實際生活上往往入不敷支。根據《金融時報》的一項調查發現，學生在30歲或以前於各大院校提供的工商管理碩士課程畢業，畢業後三年的平均加薪幅度高達1.45倍，薪酬加幅及升職任途上都有顯著的優勢；即使移民至其他國家，亦有同樣的增長及待遇。

Although pay raises every year, salary of elementary level workers can never catch up with inflation. In reality, they are finding it very difficult to cover their daily expense, not to mention entertainment. According to a research conducted by Financial Times, Students who complete their Master degree of Business Administration under the age of 30. 隨著現今社會物價通漲一年比一年嚴重，薪金上漲的幅度永遠追不上物價上漲的速度，因此生活變得愈來愈無保障，很多基層的家庭也愈來愈難支撐日常生活的基本開支。隨現代的社會逐漸進步，大型機構對於員工的學歷要求也逐漸提高，因此提高晉升機會的唯一方法就是不斷自我增值；透過自己的知識證明自己的實力，在事業上更上一層樓。

As a normal evolution of society, material inflation are getting more serious when days go by. While rise in compensation is disproportionate to the rate of inflation, citizens are becoming more and more uncertain about their future.
