印洲塘，唔知大家知唔知入面定周圍或者沿途都有唔少嘅可以考察嘅地方呢？地球科學學會誠意邀請你參加赤門印洲塘考察🛥️，遊覽香港由泥盆紀到白堊紀嘅地質瑰麗地貌風貌 !是次考察由兩位嚟自土力工程處Edison Tse同 Celia Yang帶領，由兩位熟悉香港地質知識嘅專業人士講解，一定會石以令你滿載而歸。除此之外,我哋亦都會帶有機會近距離一暏香港最古老岩石地貌風景 - 黃竹角咀* (行程受當日潮汐影響)。對於香港地質，沉積岩🪨或者海岸有興趣嘅你，千祈唔好錯過今次機會啦😼

Our new arrival society jacket will solve all the problems. The color combination of the society jacket is easy for matching clothes but not exaggerated which is suitable for all students😝 So, you can wear our beautiful jacket, but won’t catch a cold during field trip. I’m sure you’ll feel energetic when you’re doing fieldwork😎

[Core Logging Workshop]
Core logging workshop aims to equip our current and future industry members with the relevant knowledge and techniques in accordance with Geoguide 3, hoping to advance professional practice and promote better standardization. When geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists need to construct ground models to assess the potential geological and geotechnical risks for making the correct engineering design decisions, core logging is a critical part of useful information for constructing the ground models since it properly records the ground conditions of the site with accurate and standardized soil and rock descriptions.

HKRG GSL, Geotechnical Engineering Office (GEO), Geotechnics and Concrete Engineering (H.K) Ltd., and The Chinese University of Hong Kong will jointly organize a core logging workshop. Interested participants are welcome to join!
