Asian Film Awards Academy x mm2 Entertainment
Student Internship Program
Open for Application

Founded in 2013 by the three major international film festivals in Asia, that is Busan, Hong Kong and Tokyo, the Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA)’s objective is to promote and develop Asian cinema, its talents and audiences. The AFAA highlights, strengthens and develops the Asian film industry and culture through the Asian Film Awards, and year-round initiatives such as professional exchanges, mentorship and development programs for young filmmakers, and strategies for regional and international audience development.

The Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA), with the support of Create Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Film Development Fund and in association with the mm2 Entertainment Hong Kong (recently produced One Second Champion and Drifting) will organize a Student Internship Program. This is to give Hong Kong film and media-related students the opportunity to develop their skills and enrich their outlook and experience through working in the industry.

One student will be selected to join the internship program with a 10-month placement at AFAA office and mm2 Entertainment office.

Eligibility:
• Hong Kong permanent resident
• Detail-minded, responsible, proactive, strong organization and analysis skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin (knowledge of other Asian language is a plus)
