In the last two decades, HKUST Civil and Engineering Environment Department has undergone a remarkable transformation - from a department found in Year 1991 in Clear Water Bay, to a reputable hub for excellent research and teaching in the world. Our family of alumni already spread across the globe, for academic research and professional engagement. Though the alumni community is still growing, we

are ambitious. To serve this professional alumni community, CEEAA aspires to these missions:
- To connect our alumni
- To provide valued service to members
- To inspire loyalty and pride among alumni and friends
- To support the Department's mission of teaching, research, and student career development

Mentorship Programme 2nd workshop on 25 Nov 2023.

CEEAA is excited to share that we had a successful 2nd workshop of our mentorship programme last week. 🥳

We hosted a mock interview workshop 👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻‍♂️ where our mentees got valuable feedback and tips from our experienced professionals and alumni in their fields. It was a great opportunity to learn from each other and network.

We want to thank all the mentors, mentees, CEESS committee and helpers for making this event possible.😘 They are the ones who make this programme meaningful and impactful. We're looking forward to seeing you all again at our next meeting.

As a bonus, we also enjoyed a delicious dinner 🍻🍝🍕🍟with the CEESS committee and helpers after the workshop. It was a nice way to celebrate our achievements and bond as a team. It is grateful for their support and dedication to this programme.

If you are interested in joining our mentorship programme as a mentor or a mentee, please reach out to me or visit our website for more information. We are always looking for new members who share our # of empowering students and young professionals in engineering and our alma mater HKUST😍

BTW, this post is first drafted by MS BING, hope we can update post more often🤣

HKUSTAA A1 Charity Alumni Dinner on 20 November 2023.

HKUST CEEAA has kindly arranged our civil alumni elites joinng this Charity Dinner.

Echoes to the theme, we come together to celebrate the unsung heroes within our HKUST family. We met our very own HKUST President, Prof. Nancy Ip, and learn about the latest developments at HKUST and the incredible achievements of HKUST fellow classmates.

The charity alumni dinner is a wonderful opportunity to honor each and every one of us who have made a positive impact on our school, families, and society. It's a chance to show our appreciation and celebrate our collective success.

It is a wonderful night we could connect with fellow alumni, industry leaders, and like-minded individuals, fostering valuable connections that propel our personal and professional growth.

Thanks HKUST Convocation Committee especially the Chairman Terry Tsang who is also our CEEAA alumni. Hope we can have more gathering to strengthen up our networks.

On 27 Oct 2023, CEEAA sponsored a table of HKIE Civil Annual Dinner.

Together with another table kindly sponsored by our immediate past president Derrick Leung's (Yee Hop Engineering Co. Ltd.), we showed our full support to our HKUST Civil Alumni - Simon Ng (The Chairman of HKIE Civil Division).

This is a wonderful night and good opportunity for our young alumni to mingle with lots of civil celebrities.

Once again, appreciated for the support to our HKUST Civil Alumni.

Our HKUST Development and Alumni Office (DAO) has kindly invited our representative of Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association (CEEAA) visiting the HKUST Guangzhou campus, HKUST Shenzhen Research Institute (SRI) and HKUST Shenzhen – Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Research Institute (SHCIRI) on 26~27 May.

It is an amazing tour and we can feel the vibrancy of HKUST(GZ) and explore the vision to foster youngsters.

With the four hubs (function hub + informed hub + system hub + society hub), it is a new innovative academic frameworks and talent cultivation which will be sustainable to combat the future challenges.

We are glad to see our future talents to contribute our GBA and our country future development.

Thanks DAO organising this fantastic trip and looking forward to bring more CEEAA Alumni to visit HKUST(GZ) soon.
