Join the European Medical Students Association Munich, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, for an exciting in person exchange this June! Dive into a unique blend of medical expertise and cultural insights, bridging Hong Kong and Munich through an immersive one-week experience.

Exchange: Monday 15th June – Sunday 21st June 2026

Use this chance to connect with healthcare professionals and students from Europe and explore their healthcare system, community medicine, and other practices. Joining this exchange will also grant you the opportunity to engage in a variety of academic and cultural activities curated by medical students and professors from both Hong Kong and Munich. Medical students from EMSA Munich would be hosting the exchange and coordinating all the activities there! The activities include city tours, cultural experiences, learning more about local healthcare practices, and many more. Medical students from Munich will be showing you the local perspective and bringing you around the city!

Upon joining, participants will also have the opportunity to join and host the Philippines delegates visiting Hong Kong (9th of August to 15th of August), bringing them around the city and participating in activities together. Some activities include:
⁠Adventures: “dialogue in the Dark,” a scenic cruise, beach orientation games, and more!
Academics: Experience VR applications in medicine, a talk on Hong Kong’s forefront genetic advancements, and other insightful sessions.
It is a valuable opportunity to get to know your exchange peers in person and network.

Join the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, for an exciting in person exchange this June! Dive into a unique blend of medical expertise and cultural insights, bridging Hong Kong and the Philippines through an immersive one-week experience.

Exchange: Friday 6th June – Thursday 12th June 2026

Use this chance to connect with healthcare professionals and students across Asia and explore the Philippines’ healthcare system, community medicine, and holistic practices. Joining this exchange will also grant you the opportunity to engage in a variety of academic and cultural activities curated by medical students and professors from both Hong Kong and the Philippines. Our activities include outdoor excursions, cultural experiences, learning more about local healthcare practices, and many more. The exchange would be hosted by medical students from our partner association AMSA Philippines, showing you the local perspective and bringing you around the city!

With the theme of “Sustainable Medicine for Tomorrow”, AMSAHK successfully hosted MedStart 2026 on 21/3-22/3 in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong. These 2 days were packed with valuable and immersive experiences that allowed our participants to step into the shoes of a medical student, acquire insights into sustainable medicine and forge connections with like-minded peers.

Day 1 of MedStart had the central aim of giving participants a glimpse of the MBChB experience at CUHK. In the morning, Dr Oscar Wong introduced the MBChB course, Dr Christopher See discussed the sustainability of AI learning in medicine, and Dr Ann Lau demystified the misconceptions regarding gender and s*x. The lecture series was complemented by exciting interactive sessions to actively consolidate learning. During the lunch break, participants enjoyed a taste of CUHK’s canteen meals, followed by a guided tour around the university’s beautiful campus led by our Group Moderators. In the afternoon, participants took part in a variety of intellectually stimulating activities, including an insightful bioethics tutorial, an exciting medical escape room, and a hands-on exploration with real anatomical specimens from silent teachers.
Participants stepped into the role of an HKU MBBS student on Day 2 of MedStart. In the morning, Professor Pauline Yeung introduced the MBBS curriculum, Professor Gordon Wong discussed ways to bridge the gap between adults and teenagers, and Dr Tomasz Cecot delivered a mock lecture on the anatomy of the heart. To provide participants with well-rounded insights, medical students from both HKU and CUHK joined a panel to share their medical school journeys. Following lunch, participants engaged in parallel sessions, featuring rotating modules of immersive disaster medicine workshops, hands-on clinical skills training, and simulated PBL sessions.

The long-awaited announcement of the winners for the inter-group photo competition at the closing ceremony filled the lecture theatre with cheerful smiles and laughter, marking a joyful and memorable conclusion to MedStart 2026.

March Meeting (MM) is one of two General Assemblies (GA) hosted by the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) every year. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of IFMSA, the 2026 edition of MM returned to Copenhagen, Denmark, the city where it all started. During the conference, delegates participated in a range of activities, giving them a closer look at the vision, mission, and work of each Standing Committee. In addition, delegates got the chance to network with medical students from all over the world through social events, such as the National Food and Drinks Party (NFDP).

MM26 marks the first time in three years that AMSAHK has been able to send a full delegation. Hear from Rochelle, Adrian and Emma about their experiences at the conference!

March Meeting（MM）係由國際醫學生聯盟（IFMSA）每年舉辦嘅兩大峰會（GA）之一。為咗慶祝IFMSA成立75週年，2026年嘅MM重返丹麥哥本哈根，亦是IFMSA一切開始嘅地方。喺會議期間，代表參與了唔同類型嘅活動，深入了解各個Standing Committee嘅願景、使命同工作。另外，代表仲可以透過各種社交活動，例如國際飲食派對（NFDP），同嚟自世界各地嘅醫學生交流同互相認識。

The Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) is proud to introduce our community service project, Ctrl+ Health, a digital health literacy workshop designed to empower elders through technology.

Digital healthcare can feel overwhelming for those who didn’t grow up with apps and smartphones. This workshop is about helping seniors feel confident, independent, and in control of their health and wellbeing. With hands-on support, participants will learn to use HA Go and eHealth, set up medication reminders and step counters, and explore mental wellness tools that promote relaxation and wellbeing.

We’re now recruiting passionate volunteers to join us in making this workshop possible! Your role will be to support seniors throughout the session, guiding them as they learn and explore digital health tools. Training will be provided so you’ll feel ready to help.

The Asian Medical Students’ Conference is back, taking place in Jakarta this year! This is the flagship conference of the Asian Medical Students’ Association International, where delegates have the rare opportunity to meet medical students from AMSA chapters all across the globe!

This year’s conference theme is “TORCH: Tropical Outbreak Response and Collaborative Healthcare”, a topic of Highlighting the pressing health challenges faced by tropical regions across Asia and beyond, this is an invitation to explore tropical diseases such as dengue, malaria, and tuberculosis remain major public health concerns, with their burden further exacerbated by climate change, environmental degradation, and unequal access to healthcare services.

Participants making an academic submission will be regarded as an academic delegate and those that wish to only participate in the conference activities are regarded as general delegates. Academic delegates who do not make it to be academic finalists can still participate as a general delegate if they wish.

Details of the conference:
Date: 9th to 15th July 2026
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Cost: 450 USD per delegate, includes accommodation, transportation during the conference, meals, and AMSA International membership fees during the conference. Flight costs are not included.

AMSA Malaysia presents the Asian Medical Students’ Outreach Programme (AMSOP) - an initiative of AMSA International that brings together medical students from across Asia to engage in community health initiatives, public health education, and meaningful cultural exchange.

The programme will engage in various activities, including talks & workshops, community outreach (health screenings, educational booth), home programme (hygiene sessions, facility improvement), welcome dinner and cultural night.
