Dear all Members,
According to Section 2 Article II, II of the By-laws of Science Society, HKUSU, "Nomination for the post of Council Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Past Executive Committee Representative of the following Session shall be declared open within 7 days after the completion of the Annual General Meeting of the current Session by the Council Chairman."
In view of this, I now, on behalf of the Science Society Council, SS, HKUSU, declare that the nomination for Council Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Past Executive Committee Representative of Council Session 2018-2019 is now opened.
The nomination period will commence at 23:59 on 26th November, 2018 and terminate at 23:59 on 14th December, 2018.
Please see below for the vacancies opened for nomination:
* Council Chairman [1 seat]
* Honorary Secretary [1 seat]
* Past Executive Committee Representative [1 seat]
All Ordinary Members are eligible to be nominated for the posts of Council Chairman and Honorary Secretary, and only the Members of Executive Committee of the previous Session are eligible to be nominated for the post of Past Executive Committee Representative.
