The concentration of Global Political Economy (GPE) aims to provide students with the basic instruments to better comprehend the major facets of globalization. GPE equips students with knowledge as well as practical skills that are required to respond the issues of international relations and political economy. Graduates could pursue career related to politics, government, leadership in civil society and international business.

Institute of International Education will launch a new program - The China-U.S. Scholars Program, which will support 48 Chinese (including HKSAR) and American faculty and students in the arts, humanities and social sciences with opportunities to conduct research, study or teach abroad (faculty only) in the U.S. or China for the 2021-22 academic year.
