Many thanks to our senior "C Hing", C C Chang, class of 1961! Chang C Hing told me that he has got a Tourbillion watch already, but once he saw our school badge engraved on the dial of this 70th Anniversary Tourbillion watch, he just ordered it! He's so happy wearing it and seeing his name on the caseback!

Happy Hours Gathering: One Becomes Infinity - Harnessing the AI Army (18 Jun 2026)

Building a business from the ground up used to require rallying a dedicated crew. Today, however, a radical new paradigm is reshaping how we work and create. Imagine commanding a hyper-efficient, invisible workforce that operates around the clock, handles complex tasks, and dramatically lowers overhead. Not quite infinity, but certainly plenty. This is the power of harnessing an "AI Army" through the emerging concept of the Artificial Intelligence One-Person Company (AIOPC).

At our coming Happy Hours, Steve Wong will share with us the what, who, why, where, and how of AIOPC. Bringing his Silicon Valley experience back to Asia, Steve has embarked on an AI training and consulting journey, guiding organisations across the telecom, mobile internet, blockchain, and AI sectors. His expertise in leading large-scale digital initiatives also extends to his contributions in regional technology circles and public service, including his role as Chairman of the Greater Bay Area Big Data AI Association.

Whether you are eager to build your next venture or simply curious what all the buzz around AI is really about, come along and join the conversation. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and perhaps a grain of salt. We'll provide what AI can never replicate: good company, a shared laugh, and the familiar warmth of Xaverian fellowship.

Grateful to have completed our first Marist Alpha Gathering on this meaningful St. Champagnat Day!

I still remember the brief introduction of this Marist Alpha Gathering at the 70th Anniversary Banquet on 6 Dec 2025. We knew nothing about holding this kind of religious event, but with the Holy Spirit, our beloved Marist Brothers, Mr Iu, Raymond Law, Spes Ku, the PTA, group helpers, and every participant, we had wonderful sharing at every Saturday gathering. We went through inspiring and meaningful topics, discussed in a relaxed manner while tasting different kinds of yummy desserts and food, sang hymns, spent some time in silence, and tried to pray to God. Over these 12 weeks, we have formed a big, warm Marist family!

In the coming days, we will continue, and we even hope to have an Alpha gathering for current students. Stay tuned, keep the faith, and may God bless every Xaverian.

Happy Hours Gathering: Soul, Stories, and Style through the Lens (21 May, Thu)

While the soul provides the intent and stories offer the depth, it is the unique style that creates the artistic signature in every frame we capture. In our upcoming Happy Hours, Raymond Kam (K94), a world-renowned photographer and master of visual storytelling, will join us to share the odyssey that took him from his early days under the mentorship of the legendary Alain Yip to winning global acclaim, while reflecting on his latest mission to ignite the creative spark in the next generation. He will also offer professional insights on how to express our own soul and stories in style, capturing stunning pictures with nothing more than our mobile phones.

With over thirty years of experience and three consecutive championships at the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International), Raymond is a master of light, shadow, and, most importantly, emotion. Whether he is working with global giants like Apple and Nikon or capturing the quiet dignity of a charitable cause, Raymond's lens does not just record images; it tells stories that resonate deep within the heart. Beyond the technicalities of "aperture" or "exposure," he understands that the most powerful element in any frame is the humanity behind the glass.

Come join us for an evening when we put perspective, passion, and perception in focus, and let us raise a glass to celebrate a brotherhood that remains our most beautiful subject!
