Investment Society HKU Investment Society HKU is a non-profit making, student-run society in the University of Hong Kong Investment Society HKU, founded by Mr.

LEE Hung Wing, Rex on 10th June 2005, is a non-profit making, student-run society in the University of Hong Kong. Affiliated under the Hong Kong University Students' Union, it is one of the largest independent clubs and associations, with a member base of over 800 students. The honorary advisors of the Society include:-

(1) Mr. LAM Sum-chee (林森池先生）, the former vice president of Merrill Lynch (HK)

and Union Bank of Switzerland(HK)

(2) Dr. KC LAW（羅家聰博士）, renowned Investment Strategist

(3) Ms Agnes WU-Man-ching (胡孟青女士）, renowned financial analyst and commentator

(4) Mr. Fred Wong (王華先生) , renowned investment portfolio manager and writer

The Society's motto is “Be a Knowledgeable Investor”. It is believed that university students should equip themselves with adequate investment knowledge not until they step into work, but while they are still pursuing their tertiary studies.
