🏆 AMA Outstanding Young Alumni Award 2026
We are pleased to announce that Dr Elvis Wong Hoi Shun Elvis Wong has been selected for the Outstanding Young Alumni Award of the Department of Applied Mathematics 2026 - Professional Achievement (OPAA). 🏆 This annual award aims to recognize our young graduates under the age of 40 who have demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments, exemplary leadership, and significant contributions to their industry and the PolyU community.
Elvis is a 2010 graduate of our BSc (Hons) in Investment Science programme, graduating with First Class Honors. He has built an exemplary career in wealth management since then. Currently serving as the Sales Team Head and Investment Advisor at Standard Chartered Bank, he has built an impressive career journey that includes key roles at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Julius Baer, and HSBC. 📈💼 Beyond his professional and academic success—which includes holding a Doctor of Finance degree and prestigious credentials (CFA, FRM, CFP, CIWM)—we are deeply grateful for Elvis‘s 15+ years of dedication to our department. Today, we are proud to have him back in our classrooms as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, teaching and mentoring our Investment Science and Finance Analytics students. 🧑🏫✨

恭喜王凱信博士(Elvis)榮獲「2026年度應用數學系傑出青年校友獎（專業成就）」。🏆此年度獎項旨在表揚40歲以下、在專業領域取得卓越成就、展現優秀領導才能，並對其行業及理大社群作出重大貢獻的年輕畢業生。王博士於2010年畢業於「投資科學（榮譽）理學士學位」課程，以一等榮譽畢業。畢業後，他投身銀行界別，在財富管理領域建立了卓越的職業生涯。Elvis目前是渣打銀行銷售團隊主管及投資顧問，曾於摩根大通私人銀行、瑞士寶盛銀行及匯豐銀行等頂尖機構擔任要職，成就卓越。📈💼
除了在專業和學術上取得非凡成就（包括獲得CFA, FRM, CFP, CIWM等多項頂尖專業資格外），Elvis 熱心回饋母校，畢業後與學系保持緊密連繫，不時回校與師弟妹分享就業心得，近年更重返課堂，為學系擔任客座助理教授，為我們投資科學及金融分析課程的學生授課指導。🧑🏫✨
