🏆 Congratulations to the interdisciplinary student team, “𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗔𝗜”, for taking home the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 at the prestigious 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! Their project, "A New Paradigm for Pet Health Management Empowered by Millimeter-Wave and Multimodal Large Models," introduces a 24/7 AI-powered companion guardian for pets, combining millimeter-wave sensing with cutting-edge multimodal AI to enable continuous, non-invasive health.

This collaborative success features outstanding contributions from the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 (𝗣𝗛), including student team members 𝗭𝗵𝗮𝗼𝗷𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗨𝗢 (Co-Team Leader) and 𝗟𝗶 𝗟𝗬𝗨, under the dedicated guidance of project advisor 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. On 25 March, College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences held its 5th Annual White Coat Ceremony, marking a monumental milestone for the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) 2021 Cohort as they officially transitioned into clinical training. Joined by faculty, family and friends, these dedicated students were vested in their white coats and recited the Veterinarian’s Oath, pledging a lifelong commitment to ethical care and animal welfare.
