Our Faculty Graduation Photo Day will be held on the 17th of June (Friday) to celebrate graduates' remarkable achievements. There will be a group photo shoot for the Class of 2022 at 13:30 that day.

To provide a better experience to our fellow graduating Basic Members, please fill in the form attached to let us know your preferences and allow us to estimate the number of Basic Members attending.

According to the original Constitution, the motion is passed by a majority of the valid votes and the proposed amendments have thus been approved. We thank all of the Basic Members who voted, and we pledge to do as much as we can to serve you. Thank you so much.

Due to the disbandment of the Student Union of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Undergraduate Law Society has chosen to affiliate with the Chinese University of Hong Kong to continue to operate as usual and serve our Basic Members with access to the university's resources. In order to do so, we are proposing to eliminate all references to "the Student Union" in the Constitution.

To improve the welfare of Basic Members and enhance the work efficiency of ULS, we are proposing to amend the current election method and procedure, as well as voting time limitations.

The following is a summary for some of the major modifications:

1. Article 44 would be changed to “This Constitution shall be consistent with the university rules and Hong Kong laws. In the case of a conflict, the university rules and Hong Kong laws shall prevail.”

2. Article 45 of the Constitution would be changed to “The Constitution shall take effect upon its endorsement by the Basic Members of the Society and its approval by the Faculty of Law.”

3. The Chinese name of the Society would be changed to “香港中文大學法律學院本科生院會”.

4. The official language of the Society would be changed to English, though Chinese may be used for reference in the daily operations of the Society.

5. The General Election would be conducted in Cabinet form.

6. A General Polling must be announced at least five days ago.
