The Second Staff Student Consultative Committee (S.S.C.C.) meeting was successfully held on 19th October 2021. It was conducted in a more interactive format, with a more cheerful atmosphere for History Teaching Staff and Students to chat with one another. Packaged snacks and drinks were provided as souvenirs, and a short video of students’ interviews was played in the meeting. In the video, students from different years are interviewed. They shared their experiences and thought about studying History at the University of Hong Kong. They also made some suggestions on the teaching arrangement as well. Opinions of History Students were expressed more casually and directly during the chit-chat session.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Teaching Staff for their presence and to Students for sharing their opinions. The meeting would not be so successful had their enthusiastic support been absent.

Dear Members,
History Society A.A.H.K.U.S.U. Session 2020-2021 cordially invites you to the Second Staff Student Consultative Committee (S.S.C.C.) meeting. Staff-Student Consultative Committee Meetings have always served as a platform for the History Teaching Staff and History Students to express their opinions towards History courses in order to improve the quality of courses.

The Second S.S.C.C. meeting would be less formal but rather cheerful, in which History Teaching Staff and Students are provided with a more relaxing atmosphere to chat with one another. What’s more, instead of analyzing questionnaires, we will play a short video interviewing History Students in person. Your presence at the meeting is valued.

Should you be interested in voicing your thoughts towards History Courses, please feel free to fill in the google form (https://forms.gle/wQV5K9wbB7vDLJGa7) and get in touch with us! It would also be a great opportunity for you to hear directly from the History Teaching Staff! If it may not be to come in person, you may feel free to join our meeting via zoom after registration.

The Election Commission of History Society A.A.H.K.U.S.U. Session 2020-2021
was appointed by the Executive Committee on 22nd September, 2021 according to the Constitution. The Election Commission is responsible for the Annual Election and is chaired by the Internal Vice-Chairperson, Wai Kwan Hiu, Jade. The nomination for the Executive Committee, Session 2021-2022 is open from 1st October, 2021 until 21st October, 2021.

The nomination of the following posts is available:
