【c!ab Fyeel the Milk Tea Aroma☕️🤎「 伍」出奶茶香】
On 8th April, c!ab hosted a meaningful workshop under its Arts and Culture Stream at Yat Wai Cha 「一圍茶」 , a preserved 76-year-old cha chaan teng in Sha Tin, to explore Hong Kong-style silk stocking milk tea. It was a great pleasure to have Dr. Elaine Ng (吳以琳博士), Senior Lecturer of the English Language Teaching Unit and Stream Advisor of c!ab in Arts and Culture, join the experience and offer her support to c!ab.
Under the guidance of Master Ku Leung Shu (古良書師傅) — who has dedicated 47 years to perfecting every detail of milk tea making without fail — participants had the opportunity to practice the craft of silk-stocking milk tea. They mingled with customers, shared their handcrafted drinks, and enjoyed a meal together with the staff and owners. Participants were deeply moved by the owners’ dedication to heritage conservation and promised to return with family and friends to support them and become part of the spirit of Hong Kong’s local culture.
