On our second-to-last Bible study, we looked at the glorious future God has promised — a day when deserts will blossom, sorrow will flee, and His people will walk in joy with Him forever. Even in our present stress and struggles, we can hold on to this living hope, knowing that God is with us now and will one day make all things new to those who believe in Him.

During our last Bible study, we reflected on God’s abundant blessings and gave thanks for His overflowing love, while also recognizing the challenges we face and finding hope in Him as our Living Hope through them.

On this week’s Bible study, we observed how Jesus considers true healing as not merely physical but also spiritual healing.

God provides a lot of worldly blessings, and Jesus clearly wants us to use them as testimonies for His love to the world and a medium to come to Him singing praises of thanksgiving and repentance!

In this week’s Bible study, we reflected on the depth of this famous verse about seeking God’s kingdom first. We learnt that it also means to find God’s purpose in all aspects of our lives including academics, work, and social life and so forth.

The Gospel calls us to not only seek Him first, but to also seek Him in everything.

“whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

In this week’s Bible study, we examined whether our worship is stemming out of faithfulness in steadfast love for God, or whether it is going with a flow of habit.

God cares about our hearts more than our actions, which is why He wants us to first repent from sin, and then practice avoiding it - not the other way round. This also means that He wants us to be in the true heart of worship, and as a result pray, fellowship, and read our Bible - not the other way round!

“For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.”
Hosea 6:6

On this week’s Bible study, we looked at the 4 R’s of transformation and the commitment of faith we put in the humility of admitting sin and the new heart we are given upon repentance through the only Way to forgiveness: Jesus.

Recommitting to a deeper experience of the Gospel is the good news we have in Jesus’ death that pays the price of sin, and the POWER of His resurrection that restores our relationship with God.

On our first Bible study of the season, we started by planning how to grow DEEPER and WIDER in our relationship with God this year by reflecting on prayers He answered, doors He closed, and works He has done in 2025 ! 🎊
