In support of the government education policy, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, CUHK (CUSCS) has launched full-time Higher Diploma Programmes since 2002 offering secondary school and Project Yi Jin graduates an alternative route to higher education or professional development. The ever-increasing number of our students confirms our effort in providing quality learning opportuniti
es with whole person development to them. Our diversified programmes span across different professional spectra including Design, Creative Media, Business and Management, Information Technology, Languages and Communication, Social Sciences, and Health Care. They all target at helping our students to build a strong foundation for further academic and professional development. In the academic year 2011/2012, we offer a total of 26 Higher Diploma Programmes, among which "Popular Culture and Media Studies" is newly introduced. This innovative programme aims to equip our students with a solid ground for theories and practice in the area. To facilitate progression to universities for our students, the School has signed articulation agreements with more than 40 renowned overseas and mainland institutes. We also collaborate with Griffith University, Flinders University and Victoria University in Australia to offer various top-up degree programmes. Our graduates can choose to articulate to the senior years of degree programmes in Hong Kong, Mainland China or overseas. Last year, many of them were admitted to local public universities as well as many top-ranked universities in the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan.
為支持香港政府的教育政策，香港中文大學專業進修學院自2002年起首辦全日制高級文憑課程，為希望升讀大學或晉身專業工作的中學及毅進課程畢業生，在傳統升學途徑以外提供優質專上教育。所有課程學歷由香港中文大學頒授，並由大學教務會嚴格審批，質素以嚴謹和優秀見稱，學生人數更每年俱增。
學院的高級文憑課程涵蓋不同專業範疇，分別為：設計、創意媒體、商業及管理、資訊科技、語文及傳播、社會科學及醫療保健，為不同志向的學生建立穩固的學術及專業基礎。現時學院共設有26個高級文憑課程，今年新開辦的「流行文化與媒體研究」是一個創新的課程，它結合傳統文化研究理論及媒體業界分析，提供理論與實踐並重的專業訓練。
此外，學院已與40多所海外及內地著名大學簽訂銜接協議，並與澳洲知名學府Griffith University、Flinders University 及Victoria University 合作， 在本地開辦多項學位銜接課程，同學可選擇於本港、內地或海外直接升讀大學高年級。去年，我們的畢業生除了升讀本地大學外，更有多位同學直接升讀英國、澳洲及日本多間大學的高年級課程，一圓大學夢。
