自2004年11月成立以來，即兼持創會宗旨，積極拓展會務，以建構兩岸四地之民間溝通平台，促進亞太地區經貿文化交流合作與發展，並配合政府，宣介重要財經政策及有關工商法令。

經由主管機關之指導協助，榮譽總會長、顧問之支持，及全體董事及會員之努力，本會會務發展日臻精進。定期舉辦「兩岸論壇」、「台港論壇」、「世紀講壇」以及其他各項系列活動，切合時勢，因應市場，每逢推出，即為城中盛事、矚目焦點，亦於電子及平面媒體間引發熱烈迴響；對台港關係之實質發展，更屢有建樹，深獲兩岸三地政府高度評價，並榮獲陸委會香港事務局史無前例頒贈「功在國家」獎座。
