SEARCA invites applications for the 2026 Training-Workshop on Transformational Agricultural Innovation Systems (TrAInS) — a regional hybrid learning program designed to equip Southeast Asian professionals with the tools to drive transformative change in agriculture.

📍 Venue: Hybrid Format (Online via Zoom + In-person in a SEAMEO Member Country)

TrAInS provides a structured platform to critically examine emerging and persistent agricultural challenges and co-create forward-looking, collaborative solutions. Through interactive lectures, guided discussions, and applied workshops, participants will:

- Strengthen understanding of Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS)
- Develop futures thinking and scenario-building skills
- Design transformative AIS programs and action plans
- Explore governance, policy, sustainability, and emerging technologies

👥 Who can apply?
Professionals in research, extension, higher education institutions, government agencies, LGUs, NGOs, farmers’ organizations, private sector, and CSOs across Southeast Asia.

🎓 Training Grants Available
Limited competitive grants are offered for government employees from SEAMEO Member Countries (eligibility conditions apply). Alumni who have received a SEARCA training grant (partial or full) within the last two years are not eligible to receive another grant in this round. Others may join as fee-paying participants or seek institutional sponsorship.

Program ini menyediakan pendanaan dengan luaran berupa artikel ilmiah yang disubmit ke jurnal bereputasi tinggi (Top 10% Scopus berdasarkan sub-subjek).

📌 Persyaratan:
✅ Profesor dari perguruan tinggi luar negeri yang merupakan adjunct professor aktif di IPB;
✅ Profesor luar negeri yang belum menjadi adjunct professor IPB dapat mendaftar terlebih dahulu;
✅ Memiliki jejaring internasional;
✅ Memiliki H-index ≥ 50 untuk bidang STEM atau H-index ≥ 25 untuk bidang ilmu sosial, manajemen, seni, dan humaniora.
