On 3 June 2026, Universitas Mercu Buana hosted an International Symposium on Branding featuring distinguished speakers from Zhejiang Wanli University, East China University of Science and Technology, and Universitas Mercu Buana. The symposium brought together academics, researchers, and students from the Faculty of Design and Creative Arts and the Faculty of Communication Sciences to discuss contemporary perspectives on branding, brand innovation, intercultural communication, and creative strategies in a global context. Through presentations delivered by Prof. Dr. Stefan Waller, Prof. Haijun Ni, Dr. Ananta Hari Noorsasetya, and Dr. RA. Loretta Kartikasari, participants gained valuable insights into the evolving role of branding in shaping business competitiveness, cultural identity, consumer engagement, and communication strategies in an increasingly interconnected global landscape.
