Join us for two special jazz weekend performances at the Cork School of Music on Saturday October 24th with our jazz ensembles in the Curtis Auditorium.

The CSM Youth Jazz Ensemble present a family-friendly concert at 10.30am, directed by Sarah Dewhurst. Our talented teenagers will perform a selection of popular tunes to introduce our youngest audience members to the wonders of live jazz.

At 12:00pm, our Jazz Big Band takes to the stage. The CSM Jazz Big Band is made up of talented instrumentalists from CSM's BMus, BAPM and MA degrees. Together with musical director Cormac McCarthy they will treat you to a special jazz weekend programme of sizzling musical delights. This year they will be joined by guest artist Scott Flanigan on the Hammond organ.

Tickets available for purchase here: https://events.mtu.ie/events?search=&category=music

Please Note: The concert can get quite loud at times, so we strongly recommend hearing protection for young children. All children aged 2 and older will require their own ticket and seat.
