We were delighted to host “Open to Impact: Transport & Logistics” at National College of Ireland this week, bringing together experts from transport, logistics, technology, research and policy to explore how open-source AI can be applied responsibly to real-world challenges.

The event featured perspectives from across industry and academia, with NCI President, Professor Emma Stokes, welcoming attendees and Professor Horacio González-Vélez contributing to discussions on AI, high-performance computing and innovation.

Thank you to Open Ireland Network, GreenShift, the speakers, panellists and participants who helped shape an engaging day of discussion and collaboration.

When a friend or loved one tells us they've had a non-consensual s*xual experience, it's totally normal to feel a flurry of emotions (like anger, sadness and confusion just to name a few).

Simply asking "How can I help?" is a great place to start. Whether that's by going for a walk, chatting on the phone, gifting them a takeaway or researching support services available for them, there are lots of different ways you can help.

On October 7th, 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding was made between National College of Ireland and the University of the District of Columbia in Washington DC.

Not only is it exciting to form a relationship such as this newly formalised connection with the University of the District of Columbia, but it is also a privilege to learn from other institutions in other parts of the globe and use those learnings to create opportunities and help students thrive.
