The Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts is seeking an enthusiastic Curator to contribute to the development and delivery of its exhibition programme, with a particular focus on contemporary art in Ireland and internationally.

Working closely with the Director and reporting to the Head of Exhibitions, the Curator will support artists, exhibitions and public programming, helping advance the RHA’s role within Ireland’s cultural ecology.

Dr Michael Iantorno is curious about the social, technological, and business structures that shape videogame history and creative labour. His industry research centres the challenges faced by workers in the screen industries. In this presentation, Dr Michael Iantoro will discuss how he has shifted his research design in response to challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. His findings are rooted in years of media industry research completed in collaboration with Game Arts International Network, Pink Triangle Press, and the Baby Ghosts Studio Development Fund. Key topics include: mitigating bots and bad actors in survey design and distribution; developing privacy-centric workflows and tools; and balancing validation processes with participant burnout.
