Creativity and community came together at the UCD Alumni Vancouver Chapter's Monotype Art Print Workshop on Granville Island. 🎨

It was wonderful to see local alumni from University College Dublin come together for an afternoon of art, conversation, and new experiences. The artwork created throughout the workshop was incredible, and the social gathering afterwards made the day even more special. More opportunities to connect with the Vancouver UCD Alumni community are on the way!

"Growing up I loved crime books… one day, I might want to be a detective." 🏉

UCD College of Social Sciences and Law alumna Eve Higgins (BA 2021, MSc 2023) spoke to The Irish Times ahead of Ireland's Women's Six Nations clash with Scotland at the Aviva Stadium.

From studying sociology, history and criminology at University College Dublin to representing Ireland on some of rugby's biggest stages, Eve's interview offers a thoughtful insight into the balance between elite sport, academic curiosity and life beyond rugby.

What happens when old friendships, ambition and desire begin to unravel? 📚

School of English, Drama and Film, UCD alumna Sarah Gilmartin (MFA 2019, MA 2011) explores these tensions in her new novel 'Little Vanities', featured in The Irish Times.

Following the success of 'Dinner Party' and 'Service', Sarah's latest book brings together sharp wit, emotional insight and beautifully observed characters navigating love, betrayal and midlife uncertainty. Wonderful to see another member of the UCD Alumni community continuing to make such a strong impact in contemporary Irish literature.
