This week our Marketing in Practice class went on a field trip which consisted of two stops in Dublin City centre! Everyone had a lot of fun and got to meet with two of our alumni who are both working in marketing roles. ⭐

This exciting opportunity let our students see examples of real-world marketing in practice and gave them some valuable insights into the industry they are studying! 📚

📌 First up the team visited the Powerscourt Centre where they were welcomed by one of our alumni Ingryd Sampaio, Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at INVOKE CREATIVE AGENCY where they got a tour of the building and got to hear about the organisation and their marketing activities.

📌 Next the group headed over to Jump Juice at the ILAC Shopping Centre to meet with our second alumni Isabella Macedo, Marketing Manager at Jump Juice, who welcomed the group and gave them an introduction to the brand and showed them their outlet in the shopping centre.

A special thank you to Carol Partridge, our head of Marketing and Sumeet Gordhandas who lectures in business and marketing for accompanying the students on this trip! 👏 And thank you to our fantastic alumni for their time and to all our students who came on the trip, we hope you got some valuable experience from the day! ⭐

🌎 Connecting with the global education community at ICEF Higher Education 2026! ICEF

Last week, our College President Dr Paula Kenny, Director of Student Admissions Jennifer Hellis, and Dean of Student Affairs Dr Aashima Rana proudly represented Independent College at ICEF Higher Education 2026 in London.

It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, meet new partners, and exchange ideas with education professionals from around the world. 🤝🌍

Events like ICEF are a great reminder of the strength of international education networks and the importance of collaboration in creating new opportunities for students.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with our team — we look forward to continuing the conversations and building new partnerships together!
