Irish College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Here at the Irish College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Dublin we train Acupuncture TCM practitioners on an undergraduate-level 3 year part time course.

We also provide post-graduate training in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Medical Qigong. The Irish College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM), founded in 1983 was the first college in Ireland to offer training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The College runs a 3 year part-time, professional undergraduate-level course in Acupuncture & TCM, as well as post-graduate courses i

n Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM), Medical Qi Gong, and other TCM modalities. This is the 41st year that the Acupuncture & TCM course - called the Lic.TCM - has been running. A new group commences every October. See our website for full details. It is now too late to apply for the 2024 intake.

🪷 At the ICTCM, we understand that students come from a wide range of backgrounds and financial circumstances. That’s why we offer several fee payment options designed to make professional training in TCM Acupuncture as accessible as possible.

🪷 Students who are in a position to pay their annual fees in full before the specified date can benefit from a discounted rate. For those who prefer to spread the cost over the academic year, a number of flexible instalment plans are available.

🪷 Depending on your circumstances, you can choose to pay your fees in:

✅ Two equal instalments during the academic year, or
✅ Four equal instalments spread across the year

🪷 These options allow many students to budget more comfortably while pursuing their professional training.

🪷Every applicant is invited to a personal interview before being offered a place. The aim is to find out the suitability of the course for the applicant and vice versa.

🪷During the interview, we’ll explain:

✅How teaching is delivered
✅What a typical college weekend looks like
✅How practical and theoretical learning are balanced
✅What assessments and examinations involve
✅The level of commitment required to succeed

🪷It’s a chance for you to meet members of the ICTCM teaching team, ask questions, explore your goals, and gain a sense of what studying at the college is really like. Hopefully interviewees will find the process enjoyable as well as interesting and illuminating.
