The Islamic Society in UCD was established in 1991, with the aim to serve and represent the growing Muslim student population on campus. It provides a platform for students to develop themselves and work towards bringing a positive change to our society. The Islamic society is dedicated to helping Muslims and Non-Muslims on campus develop academically, spiritually and socially. It is also aims to

help clear any misconceptions about Islam by engaging in dialogue with Non-Muslim students on campus and developing unity and collaborating with other societies. The ISOC is a very diverse and dynamic society with a wide range of activities and events conducted throughout the year catering to all types of people. These range from charity events to exhibitions, talks, sports, classes, debates, outings and much more! We welcome anyone to join us!

Come support a fundraising campaign for the Muslim Sisters of Éire, an Irish charity helping people experiencing homelessness and empowering women 🤝💚

A recap of Discover Islam Week…through the lens of a digicam! 📸✨
(better late than never🥲)

A week that felt like the highlight of the semester, which was full of:
Free desserts 🧁
Free chai ☕️
Free henna 🎨
Free Arabic calligraphy ✍🏽
Hijab try-ons 🤍
And over 150 non-Muslims who stopped, asked, and had real conversations about Islam.

JazakumAllahu Khayran to:
🤍 for her constant baking and generous donations
🤍 Our ISOC committee for showing up with warmth, patience, and so much effort at the stalls
🤍 team for the dawah training that prepared us for these conversations
