Most leadership problems show up as “conversation problems” before they show up as formal performance issues: feedback that doesn’t land, tension that goes unspoken, meetings that create heat but not clarity, and 1:1s that drift into status updates instead of real development. Add in different personalities, different communication styles, and people under pressure, and it’s easy to misread what’s happening—assuming someone is unmotivated when they’re overloaded, assuming someone is difficult when the system is unclear, or defaulting to fixing and telling because it feels faster.

This course gives you a psychology-informed toolkit for those moments: how to read the system you’re operating in, understand individual differences without putting people in boxes, ask better questions, hold standards without micromanaging, and lead conversations that create clarity, ownership, and trust. The result is less second-guessing, fewer avoided issues, and better day-to-day leadership practice.
