What is a Perpetual Celtic Calendar?
This calendar is a very useful spiritual tool which never goes out of date!
The Celtic Calendar is at least 3000 years old.
It links the passage of time with the changing seasons of the natural world and with the cosmological dimensions of the world through its relationship with the sun and the moon.
This calendar marks the eight festivals and seasons of the year:
Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine, and Lughnasadh, Winter & Summer Solstices, and Spring & Autumn Equinoxes. Each with their own gifts and challenges.
The wisdom contained within this calendar still has much relevance for us living in the 21st century.
Exploring the dance of opposite energies that constantly intermingle in our lives to create each new moment.
It challenges our fear of death and darkness through an exploration of the season of Samhain and the myth of regeneration which is central in this tradition.
The Perpetual Celtic Calendar allows us to understand more fully the context in which we live our lives and understand that everything in the world is energy and is constantly changing.
The CD 'A Journey through the Celtic Year, contains in depth knowledge about the energies of the different seasons of the year.

Title: Brigid of Ireland. The Fiery Bishop at the Heart of Irish Christianity

Brief Description: Brigid has more holy wells than any other saints. Nancy will talk about some of the wells that she visited in different parts of Ireland and she will discuss why the story of Brigid, who helped shape the church in the early centuries, were later muted. Nancy's discoveries points to a story of hope, a story of what it once was and what it could be again.
