The programme for Tuesday's event at is a good one! Join us at 14.00 in our Galway Dublin Road library on August 18 for a series of short talks that range from medieval saga and ancient forests to folk resistance and song (possibly with actual singing!). We're thrilled to host a fantastically varied Heritage Week event on Ireland's Culture and Landscape at Galway Dublin Road on Tuesday, 18 August at 14.00. In collaboration with Galway City Council's Heritage Office, four ATU Heritage lecturers will hold forth on the Táin Bó Cuailnge, Ireland's ancient forests, landlord oppression and folk resistance, and the survival of traditional songs. All welcome!
