International Summer School, University of Galway The International Summer School Programme offers a range of courses in Irish Studies, Education in Ireland, Irish Language, Geology and Archaeology.

NUI Galway is located on the banks of the River Corrib about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Galway City. From Queen's College to National University of Ireland, the University's past is intertwined with the history of Galway and Ireland. Founded in 1845 with an initial intake of 63 students, NUI Galway is now a thriving institution with over 17,000 full and part-time students, of which 1,500 a

re international students representing over 92 countries across the globe, making up over 10% of the student population. The University is comprised of the College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Celtic Studies; College of Engineering and Informatics; College of Business, Law and Public Policy; College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences; and College of Science.
