From the rich clay of Brazilโ€™s Jequitinhonha Valley to the heart of Paris! ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทโœจ

We are delighted to share that DCU alumna Josiane Cotrim Macieira [https://www.linkedin.com/in/josiane-cotrim-macieira-11558422/], who studied MA in Political Communication at DCU, was named ambassador for a inspiring cultural initiative represented at Maison & Objet 2026.

Josiane joined local master artisans in Paris to showcase their extraordinary craft on the global stage. Featured prominently is a handcrafted ceramic ciranda by the artisans of Campo Alegre, a group preserving generations of ancestral pottery traditions.

This achievement highlights the power of global education in amplifying local heritage on international platforms. Photos show Josiane alongside the talented artisans during their exhibition in Paris.
