Exciting news from the School of Business - Our MSc module, Career Planning & Development, has been shortlisted for the Best Use of Innovation and Technology in Early Careers Award at the gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards 2026.

This module was developed & delivered by Dr. Edward O'Connor, Dr. Jean Cushen, and Dr. Prakriti Dasgupta at Maynooth University School of Business. It was designed to help postgraduate students take ownership of their professional development β€” utilising an array of AI tools, the module combines career theory, labour market dynamics, personal branding, digital presence, and reflective CPD practice into a single, practical learning experience.

Being shortlisted in this category is a real honour, and a reflection of the innovative, student-centred approach that underpins everything we do in the School of Business.

A huge thank you to our students, whose engagement and ambition make this work so rewarding.
