Huge Congratulations to Dr Peter Childs, Emeritus Senior Lecturer,
, has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland. This is in recognition of Dr Childs' lifetime contribution to chemical education, nationally and in Europe! Dr Childs is a past President of the Institute (2005-2007) and a recipient of the Boyle Higgins Gold Medal (1982). This year marks the 40th birthday of Chemistry in Action! magazine and 2021 will see the 40th ChemEd-Ireland conference, both started on campus by Dr Childs
