Cork College of FET-Mallow Campus is a campus of Cork ETB. QQI Level 5 & 6, iTEC, full-time day courses in Mallow and Charleville A campus of the Cork ETB.

Applications now open for full-time day courses starting in Cork College of FET- Mallow Campus September 2023. https://mallowcampus.ie
CAO points not required. Courses in Animal Care, Beauty, Business, Construction, Childcare, Hairdressing, Healthcare, Information Technology, Security, Social Studies and Sports. QQI Level 5 & 6, and iTEC certification. Grant funding available.

A valuable learning experience at CCFET Mallow Campus!

A big thank you to Bluebird Care, who recently visited our campus with their Dementia Experience Bus, giving our Nursing Studies, Healthcare Assistant and Pre-Paramedic Studies students a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of what it can be like to live with dementia.

This hands-on experience offered our students a valuable insight into the everyday challenges faced by people living with dementia and highlighted the importance of empathy, patience, understanding and person-centred care.

👏 A sincere thank you to the team at Bluebird Care for taking the time to visit us and provide such a meaningful learning experience for our students.

Experiences like this make a real difference in preparing our learners for their future careers in healthcare.

Learning beyond the classroom at CCFET Mallow Campus!

Our Animal Care students enjoyed a fantastic visit to Fota Wildlife Park last week, where they took part in a guided tour and carried out an ethological study as part of their Animal Behaviour module.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to observe animals in their environment, explore different behaviours and put their classroom learning into practice.

A great day of learning, discovery and fun for everyone involved!

🎨🌈 Getting creative at CCFET Mallow Campus!

Our Early Learning and Care with Special Needs Assisting Stage 1 students enjoyed a lovely art activity during class recently! 😊

It’s great to see our students getting creative, sharing ideas and having fun while learning together.

Creative activities are such an important part of early childhood education, encouraging imagination, self-expression and learning through play. 🎨✨

Our Personal Training students took a trip to Tesco to put their nutrition knowledge into practice!

As part of their Nutrition module, the group explored food labels, compared nutritional information and learned how to make informed food choices.

A great example of bringing classroom learning into everyday life, with plenty of practical learning and a bit of fun along the way!
