Wrapping up our visit to the Hague we visited the Kosovo Specialist Chambers where we were granted a wonderful presentation by Emma outlining the foundation and role of the KSC as well as some information on cases. We were absolutely delighted to be met by Dr Fidelma Donlon, the Registrar at the KSC that gave us some insight into her role and the importance of victim support and operational management as well as her own career path and background and finally we were honoured to be afforded the opportunity to meet with the ombudsperson of the KSC for information on the role it's competency in the KSC and his own background. Providing such incredible food for thought for staff and students!

Special thanks to Dr Noelle Higgins and the Research centre in International Justice for founding the trip, to Louisa O'Connell for her exceptional work coordinating the trip and the students and staff in the School of Law and Criminology at

Spent the afternoon visiting the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in the Hague as part of the trip to the Hague. Where we were able to hear about the role of the OPCW in the international community and the importance of their work. We even got to see their Nobel peace prize for their work in the elimination and prevention of the production and use of chemical weapons internationally.

Our students and some lucky staff got to spend the morning in the learning all about the roles within the Irish Embassy to the Netherlands and the different opportunities available internationally for graduates from internships to legal advisors to graduate positions. We were so fortunate to speak to Louise Hartigan First Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission, Barra Lysaght Legal Advisor, Gijs Boor Public affairs officer and Alfredo Garcia Tinao International Liaison Officer and learn more about their roles and career progression.
