We had a beautiful day with yesterday weaving baskets to hold their treasures in ✨️🙏💚 didn't they do so well? I hope they invite us back to weave more magic soon 🧺🙌✨️🙏💚 I'm always so happy to see everyone weave their own creative slant into the basket, I always encourage people to pick different colours and make different shapes, they all came out so beautiful 😍 and I love teaching people who get as much joy from playing with sticks as I do ✨️🙏💚🧺❤️💜

Just finished this huge basket for a commission, my spacial awareness is so bad, good job I have Alan to make sure I get the sizes right! When someone asks me to do a basket a certain size I can never picture the actual size in my mind so I end up taking on these huge jobs without thinking about how much willow it will use and how long it will take and costs of course. Anyway its turned out really well and I hope my client is happy with it, its for recycling apparently, you can definitely get alot in there 😊💚🙏

I feel like I'm still up in the clouds on a happy high vibe after our singing and weaving weekend retreat in Bru Moytura Sligo, we sang and made baskets, laughed, howled at the moon, shared cacao, ate loads of beautiful home cooked food, chatted and made life long connections, we laughed till we cried, my face still hurts from laughing, already planning the next one! What a magic weekend, watch this space for the next one 🌀❤️💃👌🫂🛖👍😁🍂🌿 🧺 🎶

Wow what an incredible 25 year anniversary celebration 🙏 I can hardly cram it all into a reel! My heart and soul are full to bursting with joy! Thank you to everyone who made it so special! Can't wait for the next one in May! We definitely found our tribe ♥️ 🛖🧺🫂🙏🙌💚

Here we are working through all the different stages in the long process of making a coffin, it takes about four days to make each one, thats with the lining and the name plate (all handmade by us) here Alan is also making the rope for the toggles which holds the lid on. And Alan cuts the name plates which I paint by hand and add personal touches, every part is made with care and kindness and love 🙏 these two are nearly ready for us to deliver, which is the final part of our job. We are a husband and wife team based in the west of Ireland and we work directly with the customer, we don't supply to undertakers generally, people sometimes come and help in the making of their coffin for themselves or their loved one if they want to. We grow most of our own willow here in our fields and every rod is cut by hand. This is more than a job to us, its our life ❤️🙏
