Leitrim’s ‘Ante Beckett’ delivers a sharp, funny take on life’s big questions

Hi all, just to let you know about an important show coming to The Glens Centre in April.

Ante Beckett is an upcoming production by Exit Does Theatre, and it’s one we’re really keen to support. Many of those involved are graduates of our programmes, or have close creative links to Blue Raincoat Theatre Company (including director John Carty), so it’s a great example of professional theatre pathways in action.

The show is a bold, darkly comic, Beckett-inspired piece that has already toured widely, received strong critical attention, and is now returning with a new expanded two-part version.

We’ll be encouraging students to attend, and we’d also love to see graduates, theatre-makers, and friends to come along to support the work. Creating theatre is precarious right now, and showing up for each other really matters.
