Our beauty salon was buzzing with activity as Transition Year students from Thurles, Newport, Borrisoleigh, Roscrea and Kilfinane joined us for a two-day TY Beauty Therapy taster programme. Supported by our current CIBTAC students, they gained practical experience in a real salon setting while learning about beauty treatments, professional standards and career pathways in the beauty industry. The event was a great success and showcased the welcoming and supportive learning environment of our Beauty Therapy programme. ETB Is FET

From Templemore College to a Future in Physiotherapy

We are delighted to share the inspiring story of Tipperary FET College - Templemore graduate Volodymyr Hlaholyk, who is taking the next step towards a career in physiotherapy.

Volodymyr began his journey by completing our Complementary Therapy PLC course, where he developed valuable knowledge in anatomy and physiology, gained hands-on experience in complementary therapies and built his confidence through practical client clinics.

His experience at Templemore College provided the skills, knowledge and foundation to progress to higher education. He is now studying for a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy at Portobello Institute, with ambitions to progress to a Master's in Physiotherapy.

As Volodymyr explains "Further education can give you the knowledge and practical skills needed to progress on to a degree and open doors that you may not have realised were available to you."

Volodymyr's story is a fantastic example of how Further Education at Tipperary FET College -Templemore can open doors, create opportunities and provide alternative pathways to achieving career ambitions.

We wish Volodymyr every success as he continues his journey.
