Our colleague Kevin McManamon was the subject of last week's episode of Laochra Gael, TG4's celebrated documentary series that tells the stories of Gaelic games' greatest figures.
Kevin was a central part of Dublin's extraordinary run of success throughout the 2010s, winning 8 All-Ireland medals over a 12-year career. He is perhaps most famously remembered for his goal off the bench in the 2011 All-Ireland final, a moment that helped end Dublin's 16-year wait for Sam Maguire.
The documentary explores the full story of Kevin's career and the person behind those big moments. It's well worth a watch.
Since retiring from inter-county football, Kevin has brought that wealth of experience into sports psychology and high-performance coaching. We're proud to have him as part of our team here in the Department of Sport and Exercise Science at SETU.
