Oh wow, what a great day. We took the students on a trip to Emerald Park. What a day, there was laughing and screaming and just all around good fun. It's nice to get a day out and we were so blessed with the weather. Also, it was our student Dylan Geraghty's last trip as a Youthreach student.

What a great day. The staff came together to do some bonding and painting of the soft play area to brighten it up. Thanks to Grainne for facilitating this wonderful activity. We then had a lovely spread of food, compliments of Mary our catering tutor and Derek on the bbq. The day was ended with a hearty fairwell to our colleague Lynn, who will be leaving us to start a new venture in her career. It's bitter sweet saying good bye, but at least we know you will still be popping in to us from time to time. We wish you all the best in your new role as AEO.

Such a wonderful day today, spending time with the students at diamond bowl and then we headed onto Avondales treetop walk. We were so blessed with the weather and everyone really enjoyed themselves. So nice to be able to step away from education for a few hours and have a bit of fun. It was also nice for our newest members of staff Mary and Amy to spend the time getting to know our students a bit better and for the students to get to know them outside of the classroom.
