Last night, the Kotel was filled with the sounds of hundred upon hundreds of people coming together to daven, reflect, and prepare their hearts for Rosh Hashanah.

Among them were some of our Neve students, experiencing one of the most powerful sights of Elul, standing together at the Kotel, surrounded by so many people praying praying for the upcoming year.

Neve alumna Julia Blum has built a growing career as a singer, songwriter, and performer, using music to inspire and connect women around the world.

You know Rosh Hashana is getting close when the sound of the shofar starts echoing through the halls of Neve!

Every year, just before Rosh Hashana, Rabbi Liff walks through the halls, shofar in hand and begins blowing the shofar. Suddenly, it really feels like Rosh Hashana is almost here.

It’s one of those little Neve traditions that our students experience and our alumnae remember. Years later, that sound can bring you right back to those halls in Jerusalem.

Our campus is home to students from all over the world, and we love celebrating where they come from!

For A Day for Ukraine 🇺🇦, during the break we served delicious syrnyky Ukrainian cheese pancakes topped with fruit 🍓🥞.

And for Uruguay Independence Day 🇺🇾, we served creamy rice pudding with dulce de leche 🍚🍯.

Two countries, two delicious treats and lots of reasons to celebrate our amazing students! 🎉🌎
