According to Vastu for bedroom, location of a bathroom is really important along with the position of the bathroom accessories. To construct a bathroom, the best location is the eastern direction of a house.
The drainage system should be constructed in the north-east direction of the bathroom. Along with this, the taps & showers should be installed on the northern side. As everyone like to have a mirror in ones bathroom, it should be places on the northern side.
The toilet should be made on the west or the north western side of the room where it should be around 1-2 feet above the ground.
Provision of good lighting & cross ventilation should be provided in the bathroom. As a part of Vastu remedy, geyser should be placed in south east corner.
Washing Machine should be placed in the southwest & south east directions which are very much suited for it. The bathtub where all the people like to pamper themselves by bathing should be placed in the west, while the sink should be placed on north east, north or the eastern side of the room.
Bathroom-VastuAs per Vastu for Bathroom, the door of the room should not be in southwest direction. An overhead tank should always be on the northwest side of the house. Bathroom should have a wonderful colour scheme like those colours which help in giving a fresh look to the bathroom. Such colours may be white, light blue or pale green. Avoid black or dark red as they act as a disturbing element.
Keeping a bathroom clean and shiny may provide you proper hygiene and inflow of positive energy. If you wish to install tiles in your bathroom, make sure you but the ones in neutral shades. If you wish, you can add some plants also inside a bathroom which would act as a decoration element.
