Metamorphosis as part of "ROOTS" is one of the main events that take place at CEPT campus which is held every year to uplift the rock scenario of Ahmedabad in fact Gujarat and also to promote the local bands so that they can grow with their music and eventually evolve as musicians from Gujarat. Metamorphosis has a glorious reputation amongst some great bands in India who have performed on the camp

us and have had a very good time on the campus performing for us. Bands like Hypnotribe, Grasshopper Greens, Grassroots Revival, Junkyard Grooves, Emergence, Indian Ocean, Bicycle Days, Lounge Pirana, Antariksh, etc. In a way many great bands have performed at our campus in their early stages.

Metamorphosis is back this year and we are inviting entries for the Band Competition. So, rush to put all your kits together!

Metamorphosis is an event for students, happening as a part of the annual festival, 'Roots 2016' at CEPT University.

The winning band will receive Rs. 18,000 and the runner up will receive Rs. 7000.

Following are the rules for participation this year:

1. Band is allowed to perform only one cover song in their playlist. Anymore covers will be disqualifying.

2. Band must pay Rs 300/- per band member, half of which must be paid while registration, and the other half during sound-check if the band qualifies for the competition.

3. Band must bring their own instruments and equipments. only a basic set of drum-kit will be provided.

4. Band must report will-in time for the sound-check.

5. Slot for each participant will be 25 mins with sound check.
