A proud entrepreneurial milestone for the Institute of Science, Nirma University ✨

WormEra Research Lab, a startup working on C. elegans-based bioassay platforms for toxicity, efficacy, and antimicrobial screening, has been founded by Dr. Gemini Gajera, who completed both her MSc. and PhD. at ISNU, along with Nidhi Thakkar, a PhD. scholar whose thesis has recently been submitted.

Adding to this achievement, the startup has been selected for incubation at the Atal Incubation Center, Gujarat Technological University.

This accomplishment reflects how research at ISNU can evolve beyond publications and laboratories into innovation-driven ventures with real scientific impact.
