The Department of Chemistry, Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College, Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed to be University, Mullana, India, hosted the 3rd International Conference on Recent Advances in Applied Sciences (ICRAAS-2025) on March 28-29, 2025. The conference brought together leading researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the globe to discuss groundbreaking developments in applied sciences.
The conference started with the inaugural speeches of Prof. Bhawna Pareek, HOD, Chemistry; Honourable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish K. Sharma and Principal MMEC, Prof. Vishal Bharti. Deans, Directors, Principals and Heads of various Departments grace the session.
The event featured keynote speeches by eminent scientists, including Prof. Sanjay Sharma, JECRC University, Jaipur; Dr. Arvind Kumar, CSIR-ICMCRI, Gujrat; Prof. Ajay Kumar Mishra, University of Western Cape, South Africa; Prof. A. Pal, YMCA University, Faridabad; Prof. Ashok Kumar S.K., VIT Vellore; Dr. Prem Prakash Sharma, Cellfion AB University, France, who shared insights on Indian Knowledge System, Ionic Liquids, Eutectic Systems, Water research etc. Panel discussions and technical sessions covered a wide range of subjects, such as Nanoscience, Biotechnology, Mathematical Models, Metal Organic Frameworks, Polymers etc. fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
Highlights of the conference included:
• Poster (79) and Oral (102) Presentations of over 181 research papers on cutting-edge topics.
• Approximately 200 people participated in online and offline mode.
• Networking opportunities that facilitated partnerships between academia and industries.
Different papers were presented in different tracks. During valedictory, vote of thanks was given by Dr. Nadeem Sharma, co-convener, ICRAAS-2025.
The conference concluded with a vision for advancing applied sciences to address global challenges, emphasizing sustainability and technological progress.
