Kamani Science & Prataprai Arts College - Amreli Kamani Science College - Amreli Mehta with the objectives of promoting higher education in this region. The trust has an academic campus of 105 acres of land.

Keeping in mind with noble gesture, the Amreli Jilla Vidhyasabha as a registered trust and society came in to existence under the president ship, The First Chief Minister of Gujarat Dr. Jivraj N. Kamani Science College was established in 1962 with 90 students. It imparts degree level courses like, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology and Computer Applications (Vocational). સૌરાષ્‍ટ્ર યુનિવર્સિટી આયોજિત આંતર કોલેજ જુડો (ભાઇઓ)ની સ્‍પર્ધા શ્રી જે.જે. કુંડલીયા કોમર્સ કોલેજ, રાજકોટના યજમાનપદે તા. ર0/9/ર017ના રોજ યોજાઇ હતી. જેમાં સૌરાષ્‍ટ્ર યુનિવર્સિટીની જુદી જુદી કોલેજના અલગ અલગ વજન ગ્રુપના ખેલાડીઓએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. આ સ્‍પર્ધામાં શ્રી અમરેલી જિલ્‍લા વિદ્યાસભા સંચાલિત કમાણી સાયન્‍સ કોલેજ અને પ્રતાપરાય આર્ટસ કોલેજના ખેલાડી વેકરીયા યશ પ6 કિ.ગ્રા. વજન ગ્રુપમાં તથા જાવિયા કિશન 90 કિ.ગ્રા. વજન ગ્રુપમાં સિલ્‍વર મેડલ મેળવી કોલેજનું ગૌરવ વધાર્યુ હતુ. આ તકે કોલેજના પ્રિન્‍સિપાલ ડો. અતુલભાઇ પટેલ, વાઇસ ચેરમેન પ્રિન્‍સિપાલ ડો. એ.જે. ચંદ્રવાડીયા તથા તમામ સ્‍ટાફ પરિવારે બંને ખેલાડીઓ તથા તેમના કોચ ડો. એ.જી. કુરેશીને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્‍યા હતા.
