Ovi-s from Dnyaneshwari for imaginative pieces on Gita-Upadesh signifying human body as an illusion - 'mrigatrishna' (mirage), on the journey of misery of being captive of one's desires and senses and conquering this 'mrigajaal' to attain the final truth. Taal Jayat interspered with the ovi created a rich tapestry of rhythm and devotion concluding with a 'gajar' - 'Jaya Ram Krishna Hari' in the intricate timecycle of 13 beats. Younger Sadhakas presented an act on 'Mriga Jataka' portraying the benevolent deer who saved the lives of all.
Dance-theatrical presentation titled 'Pipasakul Mriga Tarangam' was greatly appreciated by all. Set in the grishma ritu (summer) as described in Kalidas's Ritusamharam, the story revolves around a herd of thirsty deers in search of water. As they progress, they experience sudden encounters with snakes, elephants, crocodiles, bears and tigers. Finally they find water in a pond where all the animals drink water discarding the feelings of enmity and fear. Kalidas describes the situation as an adaptive power of the living beings where the predators and prey coexist together.
Mentors - Sulekha Bansal (Yoga), Prachi Khot (Music), Shivam Shinde (VIsual Art) and Kranti Deshpande (Sanskrit), Parwati Dutta ( Kathak Odissi) assisted by disciples Aishwarya and Bhargavi.
