Horizon-2026 Orientation Programme
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ramayan Vishwavidyalaya, Ayodhya, organized the ‘Horizon-2026’ Orientation Programme to welcome newly admitted students. The theme of the programme was “Explore New Beginnings, Embrace New Opportunities.” The programme provided new students with information about the university’s academic system, facilities, career-related activities, and various opportunities available to them. Messages from Chancellor Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, BOG Members Rahul Bhardwaj and Pankaj Sharma, Director General Prof. O.P. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh, and Registrar Girish Chinniwaal were also shared with the students.
The students were welcomed and introduced to the university’s academic system, available facilities, and various student welfare activities.
Focus on Personality Development Along with Education
Students were encouraged to focus not only on academics but also on personality development, discipline, and skill building. They were motivated to keep learning continuously and make the most of the opportunities available to them for a better future.
During the programme, Mr. Dhirendra Singh, Airport Director, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya, interacted with the students. He shared important insights related to career development, discipline, and professional life and encouraged students to set clear goals for their future.
Information on Training and Placement
The Training and Placement Cell provided students with information about training, internships, employment, and placement opportunities. Students were informed that along with academic knowledge, gaining practical experience and essential skills is important for building a successful career.
Through Horizon-2026, students were prepared for a new beginning in university life. They were encouraged to actively participate in academics, co-curricular activities, skill development programmes, and career opportunities.
